We were there for only one night and it was great. Carolyn and Essex are fantastic hosts! We really enjoyed ourselves. The breakfast was wonderful. The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. This a great weekend getaway. We are already planning a return trip and will be sharing this spot with friends.

I can't say enough about our second honeymoon! The owners and their hospitality is amazing and the breakfast is delicious. The rooms are classy, quaint and clean. The garden is beautiful...make sure you bring a nice bottle of wine and sit outside to watch the stars. We had no idea this area was this beautiful! I can't wait to go back. In fact, we will be back in Fall. We have already called everyone we love to share our experience. And do yourself a favor on the way out...buy some jalapeno jelly and/or apple caramel jam! Incredible!

We visit relatives in Talihina fairly often, but this was our first time to stay with Carolyn and Essex at Hootie Creek House. We were very impressed with the building, furnishings, amenities and hospitality. We'll definitely be back.

My wife and I only live an hour and a half from Tali Hina, but we found the Hootie Creek B&B to be the perfect weekend get away. The wonderfull mix of history and relaxation brought us a great sense of comfort and rest. We have returned home revived and rejuvinated, ready to go back to our 65 -70 hour work week. We most certainly will be back and we would suggest visiting Hootie Creek to anyone who wishes to escape the stress of everyday life.
